Technician - utilities/land rights, based in Bristol or Taunton office, chance to become chartered, £25 - £35k

Your new company
You will be working for a nationwide consultancy who are looking for a technician for utilities and land rights. This organisation work with the public sector and blue light, social housing, charities, utilities and transport and the commercial sector. This position will be based out of the Bristol or Taunton office with the requirement to also have a presence in the Weston-Super-Mare office. This is a permanent position. This organisation are looking for experienced technicians and also trainees. Salary on offer is all depending on experience.

Your new role
The purpose of the job is to undertake the Acquisition of Land/Rights in Land and carry out Compensation work, initially delivering Pre-Entry services to the Hinkley 'C' Electricity Connection Project based at the Hewish Project Office but may also include work on other Transport and Utility projects, including Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects as well as other major and minor transport, gas, water and electricity schemes in the South West, ensuring appropriate fee income to the business.

What you'll need to succeed
This is a new full-time role which requires a high caliber individual. Whether qualified or unqualified, from a rural or a commercial background, candidates will have suitable experience and skills to facilitate delivery of land referencing, negotiating land rights and dealing with compensation claims. The job will require someone who has a proven track record in organising their own personal workload and responsibilities, the ability to determine priorities and consistently meet deadlines, providing an effective and efficient platform for the team to operate successfully.
