A Worcestershire charity are seeking a Senior Building Inspector to oversee their large portfolio of properties. Your new role
Overall you will take a lead on managing a small team, providing advice, repairs and contract admin. This position is the lead responsible officer for monitoring and reporting on health and safety and property compliance across the portfolio, including legal duties and monthly compliance reporting. You will support the business providing customer focused compliance, servicing and repairs for tenants. You will ensure there are annual compliance checks or visits to all owned and leased properties. In addition you will ensure that legal compliance is met for fire risk.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered you will need to have a professional qualification in construction or maintenance related discipline or equivalent. It's important that you have experience of working in a similar environment, managing maintenance contractors, understanding forms of repair contracts and managing costs within the repair sector.
