A new job has arisen with a national technical FM contractor in Inverness. They provide planned, cyclical maintenance and reactive repairs including building fabric, mechanical, electrical, minor works and projects to a number of key clients across the country.
Your new role
As Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for the office in Inverness. You'll have responsibility of two service coordinators and fifteen engineers that cover the region. You'll report directly to the Divisional Manager and ensure successful delivery of Facilities Management, Commercial Servicing, Maintenance and Repairs in your region. You'll manage the engineer teams to deliver planned maintenance, reactive works and projects on time and to budget. You'll also assist the Business Development and Bids Team with technical surveys, cost analysis and consider proposals for business growth.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have a proven track record working within an Operational Management capacity within an FM, Commercial Maintenance environment. You'll have led, trained, coached and mentored personnel. You'll have a hands on approach to working along with excellent communication skills. You'll possess strong commercial awareness whilst liaising with clients and your team. You'll also require technical knowledge of building fabric, mechanical and/or electrical services. Ideally you'll have an understanding and experience of operating SFG20.
