Your new role
You will be a key part of the senior management team, providing Quantity Surveying support across the business. You will be working with the Commercial Manager and Group Land Director. This company currently outsource their cost/QS work to a construction consultancy, however they are keen to bring a senior QS in to the business, in order to develop their team. The duties of this role will be to manage the contractors, handle their contract administration, issue instructions on behalf of the client, liaise with the professional team to ensure projects run to the agreed time scales and budgets, as well as working with tender presentations.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a solid background in Quantity Surveying, preferably with knowledge of development. The candidate must be confident in presenting to clients, and having a customer facing role. You will liaise with contractors and consultants, in order to make sure the projects are ran efficiently and to the agreed timescales and standards.
