Job Title: Credit Controller

Monday - Friday 9-5pm
As Credit Controller the main purpose of your role will be to ensure timely arrears chasing of customer debt for effective reduction and to provide efficient customer servies experience for both external and internal departments.
The Credit controller will report to the Credit Control Manager and form part of a dedicated team working with Customer Services and Property Managers to deliver excellent service levels to customers, contractors and colleagues
What you’ll be doing
Proactively contact customers by email or telephone prior to action in line with the debt management process, fully briefing the customer and outlining next steps.
Take credit / debit car payments ensuring all details are correct and handled confidentially, where relevant.
To follow up all queried raised by customers through to resolution in accordance with process, ensuring that any issues are addressed.
Closely liaise with internal departments ensuring an open dialogue is maintained and all queries and correspondence is responded to appropriately and in line with service level agreements.
Ensure the timely chasing of debt in accordance with documented procedure and review cases for Third Party Action.
Collaborate with the Regional / Property managers to regularly review your portfolio status within agreed business timeframes.
Meet with Property managers within your portfolio bi-weekly to discuss any issues which are preventing the recovery of debt.
