Property Portfolio Surveyor

Reference: 2072PA

Salary: £46,559 to £53,997 per annum depending on qualifications and experience

We are looking to recruit a RICS qualified Property Portfolio Surveyor to join the Assets and Regeneration Team. The role is pivotal in managing the extensive and diverse property portfolio, including commercial and residential property investments, operational buildings, and development/regeneration sites, covering all property industry sectors.

The Assets and Regeneration Team ensure the Council’s property assets are efficiently and effectively managed, are compliant and safe, and that they provide the best outcomes for the Council’s Corporate Plan.

As the successful candidate you will need lots of energy and drive; you must be comfortable working on your own and as part of a close-knit team; you will need previous experience in commercial property, including Landlord & Tenant, asset management and property management; and you will need to be self-confident in dealing with tenants, neighbours, residents, and Councillors.

In return, the role offers a genuinely varied, interesting and diverse workload; autonomy to work on your own portfolio, with support where needed, and development opportunities to help you grow and achieve your career goals.

Interested? Then we would love to hear from you. Your application should include your CV detailing your relevant experience and technical expertise. There will be a scenario-based question at interview.

For an informal conversation about the position, please contact Michelle Day, Property Portfolio Manager via michelle.day@runnymede.gov.uk

We welcome applications from all sections of the community. Please note that you will be contacted by email if you are selected to attend for an interview.  Should you have not heard from us within two weeks of the closing date of the vacancy you have not been shortlisted for this post.
