Our client is a Family Office with a substantial property portfolio. Assets are mainly commercial office, retail and mixed-use in London and select locations around the UK. The investment strategy is to maximise the value of assets through planning and development (approx. 250,000 sq ft combined), redeveloping and repurposing existing properties, increasing density, improving lease and rental income and constructing new assets appropriate for their location.
As the portfolio grows, our client requires a Property Director to manage and oversee all aspects of its management. This is a very varied, hands-on role which covers the whole property lifecycle: identifying and acquiring development opportunities, planning consent, design, project management, asset management and leasing, and disposals.
You will require substantial experience in a commercial development environment with a track record of successful delivery from acquisition to completion of large and sophisticated development projects in the UK, and a proven ability to add real value throughout the development process.
Personal attributes include a pro-active approach with the ability to take a strategic overview as well as hands-on involvement; the vision to see the potential of developments and maximise value; a logical and reasoned approach; a high degree of commercial acumen and a strong sense of tact and diplomacy, with the interpersonal skills to win round a wide variety of stakeholders.
