As a FirstPort Project coordinator, you will contribute to our vision of being the leading residential property manager, as recognised by others by:
•Providing professional business to business customer service to all internal departments, residents and contractors, whilst managing the long term projects portfolio.
•Data input and programming management to the highest standard.
•Ensuring FirstPort's Major Works programme is managed to the highest statutory legislation possible.
This role of Project Coordinator reports to the Major Works Team Leader and will not have any direct reports.
You will be currently working in a role that requires you to multi-task, manage your time and complete accurate data entry. You may already have an understanding of the property management sector and Section 20 requirements.
Communication comes easily to you, you have the ability to update and consult with residents, contractors and all other internal departments. You have a high standard of both verbal and written communication which you put to good use in your report and specification preparation.
You are dynamic, driven and ambitious, with a strong customer service focus. You enjoy working independently but also enjoy a collaborative team environment.
You are IT savvy and are confident in using laptops / tablets, fluent in the main MS packages, you also have data input skills to an intermediate level.
You enjoy a fast paced and energetic role that allows you to use you varied skill set whilst managing projects and engaging with colleagues and customers.

•Managing the progression of major works projects, through all stages of the section 20 process.
•Highlight and resolve blockages / issues within the lifecycle of each project.
•Work on a balanced caseload of individual projects, as part of the existing team.
•Ensure effective and timely updates to the Property Manager on any development specific issues relating to the major works and long term projects.
•Effectively collaborate with the Customer Service and Operations Departments and to share development specific knowledge and information in relation to long term projects
•Ensure written communication is processed and responded to professionally and in accordance with targets and service level agreements set by the MS management team
•Implementing processes for capturing data from contractors, ensuring the system is kept up to date, organised and structured to meet service requirements
•Analysing Major works requirements and producing reports on a regular and ad hoc basis as required
•Managing efficient input to IT systems to support Major Works team remit
