Job Description - IT Manager

This role supports the on-going implementation of new tools and new ways of working for the wider business. It is the technology lead for operational tasks, support escalations, IT processes and infrastructure project work. This role is also the client-lead on technology supply chain management and procurement. The employer is a property developer with circa 300 staff and growing quickly. We expect the individual will be in the office 1-2 days per week with ocassional travel to key sites across the UK. 

Key Responsibilities
Operations (50% of time)

  • The business’s point of contact for all non-break-fix needs and requests
  • Point of escalation for all support and operational needs
  • Work closely with technology partners to create strong relationships and constantly affirm the products and services we procure are business-fit and appropriate
  • Baseline current customer satisfaction score and set meaningful stretch goal for improvements with appropriate scoring mechanisms
  • Implement a strategic approach to identifying and closing service/documentation gaps
  • Collaborate with LittleFish’s Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) team to ensure initiatives are triaged, captured and effectively delivered with appropriate success criteria

Process Definition (30% of time)

  • Review existing business processes relating to IT service and provision
  • Make informed recommendations for re-aligning processes to optimise relationship with technology partners to deliver better business outcomes
  • Business partner with all areas of the business to ensure our IT tools are best-of-breed and utilised to their full potential

Change Management (20% of time)

  • Support ongoing digital transformation project
  • Project manage infrastructure requests such as new network configurations or software demands 


Attributes, Experience and Qualifications

Knowledge

  • Excellent knowledge of modern technologies
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft stack inc. Microsoft 365
  • Excellent knowledge of the particular challenges relating to Managed Service embedment

Experience

  • Excellent knowledge of client-side IT services
  • Excellent knowledge of Managed Service Providers

  • Recent recognised ITIL qualification
