Job Role: HR Project Manager

Location: This is a remote role, some travel may be required

Hours: Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)

Contract: 12 month FTC

The HR Project Manager will play an integral role in overseeing delivery of HR/People project activity associated with the recent business/divisional changes.

Reporting to the Head of Business Change and working closely with the relevant HR team’s dependant on the workstream.   The role will blend both knowledge of HR process, data and best practice with a clear understanding of the project management discipline.

This role has a team of up to 2 direct reports

Main Responsibilities

  • This role will play an integral role in ensuring that all our HR/People Systems, processes and data are accurate and reflect the new organisational and divisional structures
  • Build the Project Plans for each of the different workstreams ensuring clear milestones and deliverables.
  • Establishing people projects for success, tracking timelines, dependencies, issues and risks to deliver on time, ensuring goals are identified and agreed upon for the project and KPI's
  • Working alongside key stakeholders across all areas of the function to ensure seamless implementation of projects
  • Devises and manages a regular project reporting mechanism for the HR team and relevant business leaders
  • Support with data analytics. To include the creation and maintenance of dashboards and metrics to allow ongoing monitoring and communication on the progress
  • Manage project contributors across all areas of the business to ensure an adequate understanding of ownership, timelines, resource needs, risks, contentions, and dependencies

Skills and Experience

  • A strong HR generalist background with experience of managing people projects / HR initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Strong and up-to-date employment law knowledge
  • Experience of communicating project plans around change initiatives
  • Proven ability to work in collaboration with stakeholders at all levels throughout the business, and demonstrable experience of driving change
  • A strong analytical / problem solving mind-set, with the ability and willingness to get into the detail to find solutions
  • A self-motivated team player who is able to work effectively with general guidance towards objectives
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills.
