Our transformed Housing Assets Service is seeking a number of applicants for the following Key posts to help make our ambitions a reality.

Your new role
As the Governance Manager you will be working within the commercial and contract team providing a support function to multiple key stakeholders across the department. You will develop and deliver the contractual governance framework to support the Housing Assets service area to ensure all relevant contractual requirements, legislation, regulations and policies are complied with.

Working in a matrix style supporting the whole of the Housing Asset division you will be planning and managing the programme of governance meeting cycles, servicing meetings and providing strong administerial support. As well as building and maintaining contractor relationships, acting as first point of contact for all Governance updates.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong track record in a previous Governance role, in a complex public sector setting and understand the complexities of construction contractor relationships. Ideal background would be from a housing environment with a degree level (or equivalent or vocational qualification) in Construction/Governance related subject or area.
