Job Role: Facilities Support Assistant
Location: New Milton
Salary: £11.95 per hour, £23,000 FTE- Pro rata 
Hours: 25 hours per week (8am to 1pm )
As the Facilities Support Assistant you will be contributing to Mainstay’s vision to recognised as the market leading provider of services to the UK’s property sector. Mainstay is a professional service organisation, that delivers business expertise and service across the property industry

  • To provide support in ensuring that the office is a safe and well-maintained environment
  • Delivering a great customer experience for all of those using and working in the office for both internal and external customers

This role reports to the Facilities Supervisor
Main Responsibilities

  • General office administration to include raising purchase orders, managing stationery supplies and general office consumables, ordering business lunches etc
  • To manage and distribute incoming and outgoing post and arranging courier collections
  • Reporting and recording maintenance defects to the Facilities Supervisor
  • Aiding with resolution of on-site facilities related queries from colleagues, visitors, and contractors
  • Any other tasks as requested by the Facilities Supervisor and Head of Treasury Services

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working Front of House in a busy office environment
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety regulations & capable of effective Manual Handling Operations
  • Efficient use of Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel & Word packages
  • Able to prioritise workload and multitask
  • Excellent communicator with people of all levels
  • Proactive with an adaptable approach with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Flexibility to provide team sickness/holiday cover at short notice
  • Friendly & customer focused
  • First Aid and Fire Marshall trained (Or willingness to be trained)
