Facilities Manager - Home/Site Based

A leading managing agent is looking for a Facilities Manager to join their already established and growing team. The business have a strong reputation in the market and are known for their work across Retail, Office and Commercial Assets, working on behalf of major clients. The role will be responsible for a portfolio of commercial assets, largely within London with a few North of the M25. The role will be site/home based with attendance into the companies office once per week to review matters with the Property Managers. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring Health & Safety Compliance
  • Control of expenditure
  • Ensuring reactive works and budgeted works are undertaken
  • Dealing with Tenant, Property Manager and Client enquiries
  • Liaison with Tenants
  • Inspection of properties
  • Inspection of works carried out by contractors
  • Coding and approval of invoices
  • Preparation of Service Charge Budgets for review by the Property Manager
  • Undertake procurement of contractors across the portfolio

About You:

  • Strong technical knowledge in relation to plant and equipment
  • Experience of procuring and managing contracts
  • IWFM Membership
  • IOSH Qualified, preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
  • Attention to detail
