City Development Manager
This is an exciting time to be part of a team responsible for delivering and facilitating new property developments across the city. This is an opportunity for you to play a significant role in making Southampton an even better place for residents, visitors and those who work in the city.
We are looking for a property professional who can play a significant part in delivering major development programmes in the City, so that they can contribute effectively to the future economic prosperity of the City. You will provide management of major property development projects covering the full spectrum of development activity from development concept, marketing, negotiating with existing tenants/occupiers, site disposal, through to co-ordination of City Council activity to assist construction on site. You will have relevant experience working for, or with Local Authorities to manage significant property developments and programmes and working with and through stakeholders and partners. We are also looking for someone who has the ability to negotiate effectively and be an advocate for the City, the City Council and is partners.
You will have a degree level education with chartered surveyor property related qualification (i.e. MRICS).
