Assistant Director - Property

Location: Canary Wharf, London 

Salary: £63,805 – £70,823 pa

Hours: Full time

Contract: Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to use your property and facilities management expertise to play a key role providing leadership and direction in the operational delivery of all property services across the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).

The CMA recently relocated to new premises in Canary Wharf. To ensure continuous improvements, you will oversee all facilities services, property management, projects, and drive a robust health and safety agenda, covering all aspects of property, including fit for purpose buildings and workplaces.

Driving a culture of service excellence, your key responsibilities will include developing a programme of work and suitable governance arrangements to improve workplace quality and standards. This could include major expansion and refurbishment projects. You will also need to develop effective environmental solutions across a complex and diverse property portfolio to ensure that all areas of property management throughout the property life cycle support the Greening Government commitments.

A proven track record of managing a large portfolio of buildings and associated facilities management services at a senior level is essential as is strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to forecast, prepare and manage large budgets.
