The Property Department was first introduced at Pegasus Group in 2018 and since then the service has been thriving. With various new projects and growth in the renewable energy, residential and telecommunications sectors the team is now seeking an Acquisition Surveyor to join the team based in Liverpool.
With our flexible hybrid working we can consider candidates either in Liverpool or Manchester as we seek to recruit the best suited candidate to deliver an exceptional service that creates sustainable and successful developments for our existing and growing client base.
You will be working closely with the Land & Property Director and wider Land & Property team to support with new client instructions that require a mix of new site finding, negotiation, site acquisition and project management. Initially, you will be responsible for assisting with telecoms site acquisition and energy project site finding and site acquisition.
The telecoms work is across a mixed portfolio of greenfield and rooftop site upgrade work for 5G, new site finding and acquisition, along with incoming existing infrastructure site share projects. This will include meeting landowners and site providers, carrying out MSV’s, negotiating terms, overseeing legal acquisition and overall project management of the pre build process, including liaising and reporting to the client.
The energy work is largely land assembly based and is across a number of different technologies, including onshore wind, large scale ground mounted solar PV, battery storage and the onshore, land based elements of offshore wind energy projects.
With the growth of the team and service into additional sectors there is scope to become involved in a variety of projects and sectors, particularly telecommunications, renewable energy projects as well as residential and commercial property and contribute towards the future growth and success of the Land & Property Department.

Person Specification
We seek an Acquisition Surveyor with a proven ability in all aspects of the acquisition lifecycle, with commercial insight and who is able to assist with the development of our network of clients.
Candidates will need to demonstrate that they have the following:
- Acquisition and estate management experience within the telecoms or energy industry.
- A degree in a related subject, RICS or MRICS is desirable but not essential.
- Working knowledge of UK Property Law and the Town and Country Planning System.
- A proven understanding and track record of negotiation and site acquisition delivery.
- Ability to demonstrate successful project management and effective organisational and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Self-organised with excellent time management and the ability to prioritise own workload while managing the commercial and billing aspects of the acquisition lifecycle.
- An ability to be proactive, strategic and analytical in your approach to support client’s requirements.
- Demonstrate a people focused approach with integrity and the ability to bring forward new ideas.
