The environment in which we learn and work plays a major role in the wellbeing of our students and staff and is a key enabler of our core purpose and strategy.  The Estates department provides and cares for all the buildings and estate infrastructure across the University campus portfolio, ensuring a high-quality and fit-for-purpose environment.

We are seeking an individual with a proven track record of success in the property and construction industry and who has demonstrable experience of leading capital development programmes and projects across a complex property portfolio.  You will have ability to manage resources, including people management, financial management and supply chain management, and will be adept at working successfully with a diverse range of stakeholder groups at a senior level within a large, complex organisation. UWE Bristol is a leader in its field for its use of BIM and digital technology to develop and manage its physical assets and the role calls for an individual with knowledge and experience in this area and a strong commitment to further developing the use of this approach within the University.

The role calls for an individual who has a proactive, positive, resilient and highly motivated disposition and who will thrive on the challenge of leading the development on one of the largest and most diverse estate portfolios in the region.  The Candidate Brochure can be viewed and downloaded at
