Job Title: Assistant Development Manager
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 per year
Working hours: 35 hours a week - 12pm to 8pm
As an Assistant Development Manager, you will contribute to our vision of being the leading residential property manager, as recognised by others by:
•Working in close conjunction and cooperation with resident committees or associations and proactively coming up with solutions to any issues that may arise.
•Supporting the Development Manager to build and maintain a community atmosphere on site.
This role reports to the Development Manager, and has a team of up to 4 direct reports.
You will have experience working within the property sector, either as an Assistant Development Manager, Facilities Assistant, Property Administrator or a Head Concierge. You will be a real team player, a motivator and excellent mentor, with the ambition to grow and develop your skillset whilst developing your team.

•Supporting the Development Manager with team meetings, interviews, staff appraisals and all disciplinary issues.
•Effective liaison (in conjunction with the Development Manager) with residents, addressing queries and concerns in an effective and timely manner.
•Carrying out daily site inspections and ensuring high standards of cleaning and maintenance are adhered to including leisure centre equipment and pool infrastructure.
•Ensuring all yearly risk assessment concerns are acted upon and completed within the given time frame.
•Support with the monitoring and supervision of contractors, carrying out works on and around the development.
•Raising of works orders and ensuring all orders are monitored and delivered within the designated time frame. Ensuring reactive/planned works are conducted to a high quality.
•Ensure health and safety requirements are in place and adhered to. Necessary routine checks are being carried out regulary.
•To ensure all irregular incidents are investigated and reported to the Development Manager. To provide a response to emergency queries (out of normal office hours) directing site staff as appropriate including site attendance where necessary.
•Assisting the Development Manager, contractors and maintenance with health and safety logistics in all areas of the development affecting residents, visitors and staff.
