Manage and develop the varied property portfolio, including the granting of new leases; lease renewals; licenses and agreements in accordance with the Asset Management Plan and Service Plans.
Negotiate rent reviews in order to maximise revenue income for the Council, meet best practice, secure Best Value and deliver relevant performance indicator requirements.
Undertake a wide range of estate management activities including dilapidations; insurance; repairs; licenses; wayleaves; assignments; change of use and sub-lettings in order to maintain and enhance the investment portfolio
Negotiate and undertake the acquisition of properties by agreement or under the compulsory purchase code in order to comply with the Asset Management Plan and Corporate Capital Strategy.
Undertake the valuation and related investigations of properties and provide valuation reports for Right to Buy; loan advances; insurance; re-purchase, and 75% purchases.
