A well known public sector authority who are currently going through a significant change in order to commercialise their business. The organisation operate all over the UK providing services to communities & public authorities. In the last 2 years the company have recruited 69 new employees to support their growth plan, they are a growing organisation with significant plans for the coming years.
Your new role
You will be operating as a Project Manager covering a large volume of projects throughout Scotland, you will be tasked with managing projects from conception to completion dealing with various types of stakeholders using your experience. You will be working from home 5 days per week dealing with your projects on a daily basis. You will be expected to travel to site when required in order to successfully manage the work.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working as a Project Manager with a consultancy or a contractor, an Engineering background is essential as well as experience with NEC contracts and a strong knowledge of CDM regulations. Experience dealing with contractors and contractual matters, a mining background would be desirable but not essential.
