Title: Groundworker– Anchor Repairs & Property Services (ARPS)
Location: Remote with regular travel across the Northeast
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £32,987 per annum + company van

We’re looking for a skilled, experienced Groundworker to join our Asset Repairs & Planned Services team, delivering high-quality external repairs across our Northeast locations. What does it mean to be a Groundworker with ARPS?
Shape Safe, Quality Outdoor Environments: You’ll carry out a wide range of external repair works including:
- Laying and levelling all types of flagging with precision.
- Completing brick wall repairs to a high standard.
- Mixing and pouring concrete for footpaths and small structures.
- Fencing works.
- External works that maintains our properties and keeps our residents safe
- Following repair specifications and ensuring each job is completed accurately and safely
Operate with Skill and Responsibility: You’ll be confident using small power tools, compactors, concrete mixers etc – and work confidently with CAT scans to ensure health and safety is at the core of your work.
Be a Trusted On-Site Professional: You’ll work closely with Anchor and Equans teams, including Surveyors, Site Managers and Location Managers, ensuring sites are prepared, safe and completed to a high standard.
Keep Safety at the Heart of Every Task: We’re committed to keeping colleagues and residents safe. You’ll follow all health and safety guidance, wear PPE, and complete each task with care and professionalism.
What you’ll need:
- NVQ Level 2 in Ground working or equivalent
- At least 2 years hands-on experience in ground working
- Experienced in operating ground working tools and machinery
- Strong understanding of construction health and safety.
- A valid CSCS card and a clean UK driving license.
