I am working on behalf of a Construction consultancy in Lancashire who due to winning a number of tenders recently, have decided to start the recruitment process for a Property Technician to join their team.

Your new role
The role is to provide technical and administrative support to a team of Surveyors completing projects within property management and development. You will work with a range individuals within the property industry including for example tenants, Council Officers and members of the Public. The role will see you dealing with property related queries and acting as a first point of contact. You will be responsible for accurate land, property and tenancy records on a specific property management system and consistently see these maintained and updated with relevant information provided by the surveyors. Another aspect of your role will be to book and attend routine property appointment off site and support in arranging reports for surveyors.
What you'll need to succeed
To complete this role you will need a keen interest in property and ideally (not essential) have completed some form of Property/Building related education. You will need good communication skills (verbal, written and face to face). Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadline. Competent IT Skills with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel. A huge part of the role involves establishing, building and maintaining good working relationships with both colleagues and external organisations/tenants, because you will need to frequently visit properties of site you will need a full UK driving license. However, most importantly - have enthusiasm for the Property industry, the willingness to learn and the hunger to progress your career within the industry.
