Board member (£6,000 per annum)
With 15,000 homes; substantial capacity to increase housing supply and invest in neighbourhoods; and 700 staff who are shaping how we make a meaningful impact for our 27,000 customers - we are proud to be introducing Beyond Housing – the newest arrival on the social housing landscape. Having recently advertised to recruit our new Chief Executive we are excited to supplement our current shadow Board with an additional member.
We are looking for someone with a senior track record in development from either an executive or non-executive role. You will need to offer an appreciation of development matters across our region; as well as strong insight into strategic risk appraisal and management for development, regeneration and growth opportunities.
This is an organisation that is creative and entrepreneurial, with an agenda to be shaped by the Board and new leadership team. Your offer will include experience at a senior level, with a relevant professional or business skill in development: securing strategic opportunities, delivery of development programmes and innovation in residential housing
As Beyond Housing, we are not seeking to be just a bit better than our two existing individual organisations. In coming together, we are expecting to take an enormous leap.
