Empty Property Surveyor, Norfolk, 3-6 month contract, Rate up to £22 per hour

Your new company
We're working with an organisation in Norfolk who are looking to recruit a temporary Void Surveyor to cover a period of up to 6 months. You'll be joining a team of 3 Surveyors this is a highly important role and will give the opportunity to manage a diverse range of empty property or void works activities. There may be opportunity for this to convert into a permanent position dependant on performance.

Your new role
As an Empty Property or Void Surveyor you will be allocating, programming, monitoring and progressing work of the team. You will be coordinating and planning the void programmes, which will include monitoring budgets and working practices. You'll be responsible for organising a small team of trades staff, ensuring that works are completed on time and on budget. In addition you will you will oversee and undertake feasibility studies, provide estimates, specifications, designs and contract documentation for a range of projects including disabled adaptation.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an experienced Surveyor with good knowledge of maintenance and construction related Health and Safety issues. You will ideally have worked as a Building or Maintenance Surveyor in a social housing or a local authority setting. You will also have experience project managing maintenance, disabled adaptions and void projects from start to finish.
