A well established private property management and agency business, with responsibility for looking after over seven thousand commercial and residential properties.
Your new role
You will take the role as lead Chartered Surveyor on the commercial property and lettings side, responsible for dealing with commercial lease renewals, rent reviews and rating appeals. You will manage two members of staff who are predominantly responsible for the letting of residential property and take a lead on managing the commercial side of the business, delivering general practice surveying services to a range of private clients. You will set up management agreements, carry out inspections, agree terms, reporting to the board, and all other property management activities.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a Chartered Surveyor with experience in commercial property. You will have expertise in landlord and tenant law and be able to conduct rent reviews and lease renewals. You should have experience with residential property as well, but the Commercial surveying experience will be most important part of this role. You must be a good communicator, and for the right person, this job offers an opportunity to take on a well established department, but also to build the business with new and existing clients.
