Senior Project Manager (Corporate real Estate)
Your new role
You will work in unison with the current project director to deliver planned refurbishment projects to corporate property, starting with a $40 million office merger of in Surrey to be completed over 3-5 phases within 2 years, but with a secure pipeline of projects within the UK and throughout Europe.
You will be responsible for delivering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
These projects will involve relocation of staff, fitting out office space, planning office space layouts and designs, managing IT infrastructure installation, and managing building extensions if required. You will be responsible for carrying this out whilst sites are still live, and will need to minimise disruption to business.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role you will need to have previous experience taking on a lead role, managing construction projects inception through to fruition, with a strong presence in each phase of every project.
You will need to be comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders and communicating effectively with them both verbally and in writing. You will need to effectively manage multi-disciplinary teams, including contractors, site managers, assistant project managers etc.
You will have an ability to analyse opportunities and assess risks, and the impact that these may have on the business, in order to make informed and insightful decisions.
You will ideally hold a professional qualification in a construction or design related field, for example RICS, CIOB or RIBA, however this is not essential.
Overseas / international experience is also desirable but not essential.
You will need to be willing to travel as part of your role as you will be managing different projects from different locations within the business, this may include sites located outside of the UK, predominantly, but not limited to Europe.
What you'll get in return
In return for your work, you will receive a competitive salary in the region of 70-80K, with some flexibility dependent on the successful candidate's experience and ability.
The business offer a non contributory 10% pension and you will be entitled to a company benefits package on top of this.
You will get the opportunity to travel throughout Europe and globally, with future projects based in Stuttgart, Paris,
Madrid & Sydney.
