Property Manager - Residential Property, Kingston £25-30K (DOE) + Benefits
Your new company
Your new company is a well established property consultancy with a successful track record and growing client base. They provide property advice and services to private clients, local businesses and National organisations such as banks and developers.
They are now looking for a property manager with residential experience to join their team to assist in the growth of the business.
Your new role
You will be the point of contact for leaseholders, clients and residents, and will respond to enquiries via email, phone and post.
You will be responsible for managing client files, ensuring they are up to date and correct.
Your new role will involve managing and building on an existing residential property portfolio, ensuring regular property inspections are completed in order to identify maintenance or repair issues.
You will work regularly with the accounts team to assist in managing service charges and pursuing rent in arrears, additionally you will work in parallel with surveyors and consultants on major refurbishment or building projects, providing assistance to the project management.
You will responsible for producing annual budgets, and managing expenditure throughout the year and calculating reserve funding for future years in preparation for board approval.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in residential property management will be key to success within the role.
Excellent knowledge of Assured Short-hold Tenancies, implementing Section 20 notices, and other statutory regulations will be required to be successful with your application.
An excellent level of written and verbal communication will be essential, as you will be expected to liaise effectively and regularly with varied internal team members, contractors, and a diverse client base
You will need to be highly organised, with the ability to think on your feet and act quickly within short time-frames in order to resolve issues.
You will be using MS Office on a daily basis for the role and therefore an excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook will be essential.
The ideal candidate will be a team player as you will be required to work effectively within a group of managers.
