With two existing very successful and iconic brands and the launch of a third brand this year, the investment team is busy doing deals and there is a requirement for a seasoned Investment Manager to join the existing team. The successful applicant is likely to have 4-6 years' experience in a real estate transactional role, with the ability to take a deal through to closing. This is a key role within a small and close-knit team, with significant exposure and responsibility offered from an early stage. The role offers good variety of activity, being a blend of financial, commercial and legal and the ideal candidate will relish the opportunity to work within an entrepreneurial environment in this fast-paced and growing business,

Key responsibilities

The successful candidate will support the Investment Team, Chief Development Officer and CFO in a number of activities, including:

  • Research into UK, European and US markets
  • Origination: Detailed analysis of potential opportunities including financial modelling
  • Execution: Commercial, financial and legal due diligence, preparation of investment reports, assistance with negotiation of legals and completion of transactions
  • Project work across a number of different businesses and industries

  • Team player, able to work and develop relationships with a variety of personalities with different professional backgrounds within a multidisciplinary team
  • Highly numerate and with solid technical skills

Essential qualifications/experience

  • Educated to degree level
  • Minimum of four years' experience in a real estate investment-focused role
  • Strong modelling skills
  • Interest in the hospitality and leisure sectors, and in the Ennismore brands
  • Good understanding of real estate valuation techniques

Desirable experience

  • Experience within a top tier strategy consultancy (CF advisory also considered)
  • Corporate transaction experience (due diligence / corporate finance / M&A experience)
  • Big 4 qualified accountant (newly qualified considered) with CF experience
