Your new role
As a result of the team expanding, a new job role has been created for a Property Manager to join this well established and friendly team. You will manage a large portfolio across Sussex with overall responsibility for them all. Day to day duties will include, property inspections, client liaison, leaseholder meetings and as such, an ability to take minutes and chair all relevant client meetings. You should be able to produce budgets for annual service charges, carry out rent reviews and be an all-round well informed and professional leader of the team.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have well established experience across a range of similar properties with ideally a qualification such as MRICS, MRIPM or ARIPM. Section 20 Knowledge is a must along with a robust understanding and knowledge of budgets and financial reviews. You should show exceptional organisation, attention to detail and an open and honest attitude. Communication will play a vital role in your relationship with both your work colleagues and clients and you should show enthusiasm with a natural ability to muti-task without diluting any quality in your work. Long term the ideal candidate will show determination and willingness to progress the role and their position in the company with real opportunities for promotion for candidates with the right attitude.
