Your new company
An international, multi disciplinary property firm, who are a leading provider of agency, professional & consultancy services across rural, commercial & residential property. With a strong commercial team, who work on panels for several large corporate banks, they are in need of a commercial surveyor, who can undertake regular rent reviews, lease renewals and also consult on Red Book valuations. Your organisation have a large network of offices across East Anglia, offering local knowledge to their customers, with the potential to establish yourself within one offices & department, or move up through the chain of command, offices or professional services.
Your new role
You will be joining an established commercial team based in Kings Lynn, which offers both their technical & local market expertise. The head of the commercial team is currently forward planning, and looking for an experienced commercial surveyor that could take over as head of commercial, within the Kings Lynn office. With a presence on panels for corporate banks, you will be handling book valuations, with the potential of training on offer, to further your ability, if needed, to undertake red book valuations at the corporate level. You will also handle general rent reviews & lease renewals within the commercial & private portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previously worked for a consultancy, having worked as a property manager, commercial agent, or general practice surveyor. You will need to have RICS accreditation, and ideally chartered, though this not essential. Those without chartership, but relevant and quality experience will still be considered for the position.
What you'll get in return
You'll be working in an established commercial team, in a friendly office environment, all of whom in the team enjoy taking part in social events, promoting a relaxed & unified atmosphere amongst the teams. You will be working directly under the head of commercial who will offer mentorship, regular training & support, with the very real chance to head up the commercial team upon his departure. You will also receive an annual salary of up to £45,000, a discretionary bonus, 25 days annual leave, a contributory pension, car allowance OR company car.
