Development Manager, up to 75k + 50% bonus + benefits - Over 100k all in package

As the Development Manager you will be responsible for the complete management of development projects from inception through to completion. You will lead the site acquisition process, agree the purchase strategy and procure the technical and legal team to progress site acquisitions and options. You will undertake feasibility reports and produce development appraisals.
You will be responsible for preparing business case/viability reports in accordance with the Development Control Plan and in conjunction with the Development Director. With Solicitors you will negotiate and assess the financial impact of any section 106 contributions proposed by the relevant local authority. You will direct and monitor the Design Team in the development of an efficient build design including the overall cost value of the structure, whilst also overseeing the procurement process and award of construction contracts.
As Development Manager you will ensure effective communication with team members and colleagues and establish reporting and authorisation procedures to operate between the Development Manager and the Project Manager. You will be expected to report immediately any Health and Safety concerns and promote safe working practise. As a senior member you will promote and ensure the good reputation of the company and adhere to all company policies.
