Chartered Building Surveyor to join a High End Surveying Consultancy - South West London £40-50K + Benefits
Your new company
Your new company is a medium sized practice specialising in High End Residential & Commercial building projects.
They provide surveying, architecture, project management, and project monitoring services to high profile clients, maintaining the highest possible level of quality, accuracy & customer service from inception through to completion, and ensuring services are delivered on time, within budget and to the best standard.
You will be based at the Head Office along with the 70 person strong mixed workforce of surveyors, architects, project managers and Business Directors.
Your new role
Due to an ever increasing client demand (due to an impressive track record and reputation) the company are looking for a Chartered Building Surveyor to directly assist the current Head of the building surveying team.
The business have stressed the need for a locally based surveyor, as they understand the need for work/life balance and the affect a long commute can have on productivity.
Your new role will involve providing Party Wall and Dilapidation services, as well as overseeing Building Surveys and managing a variety of building projects, offering professional advice and consultancy to clients.
As a senior member of the team you will be responsible for securing new and repeat business in order to increase workloads and revenue.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified/chartered Surveyor having passed your APC and become a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, MRICS or FRICS.
You will need to be highly ambitious and self motivated as you will be setting an example to junior members of your team.
You will need excellent interpersonal skills and communication, as you will be expected to mentor graduates, helping develop them into outstanding surveyors.
It is essential that you possess a strong, positive work ethic as senior members are expected to lead from the front, setting a benchmark in billing and business development.
Your attention to detail and time management are hugely important, as accuracy and controlled management are both qualities the business is renowned for.
