Principal Construction Manager
Principal Construction Manager - South East
You will lead a small team responsible for the successful delivery of our Construction projects across our South East zone - annual budget £10 - 20m. You will ensure all allocated projects are delivered in a cost effective manner, within appropriate timescales and to the required standards.
You will also contribute to strategy by providing advice to internal and external stakeholders, and customers.
To be successful in either of these roles, you will be a talented and experienced individual, who:
- Is a Chartered Surveyor (or MCIOB) with significant construction project & programme management experience within a client organisation.
- Has a proven track record of managing teams delivering a large and complex programme of project activity across a geographically dispersed area.
- Possesses excellent skills in communication and stakeholder management, and has strong strategic, analytical, investigative and problem solving skills.
- Is commercially astute with significant cost management experience, and a record of identifying cost saving opportunities
NHS Property Services has a Project Programme encompassing maintenance, upgrades and new build work within the NHSPS portfolio with an annual budget of £80m. The South East represents £10-£20m annually of that budget and programme of works and as such, the role requires suitable experience in order to service the many variants to the work required.
