Hays Property & Surveying have been instructed by a leading commercial landlord / property company whose portfolio boasts significant commercial holdings within Central London. This is a unique opportunity for an experience MRICS Senior Property management surveyor, Salary c.£60,000 + Benefits

Your new company

This is an opportunity to join a long established commercial property investment company with a HQ based in London. The company work towards a common goal investing in commercial office buildings delivering stable returns. The company pride themselves on their efficient property & asset management ensuring maximum returns are achieved. The company's assets are primarily based in London with a number of sites across Europe, there are over 500 tenants within the portfolio including blue chip corporations and government authorities occupying assets worth close to £2bn.

Your new role

This position plays a critical role in the strategic management and direction of each asset overseeing all facets of the physical property and ensuring each asset remains relevant to the occupier market. The property managers are required to work with specialist functions of asset, facilities and sustainability management in order to generate a cohesive plan in order to deliver a relevant produce to the customers and stakeholders. You are likely to lead and manage refurbishment projects, advice on acquisitions & disposals, managing assigned staff and keeping a tight control of service charge budgets.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years PQE experience and a strong technical background, MRICS qualified and with a good working knowledge of the RICS Code of Service Charge Practice. Must be able to demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of excellent customer service and best practice Property Management. Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve targets / deadlines with a minimum of supervision. A good understanding of Health & Safety legislation ideally with regulatory & CDM knowledge. IOSH or NEBOSH preferred, but not essential. An interest and some experience in sustainability and energy efficiency, and its application to commercial property are desirable.
