Quantity Surveyor (5 year contract)
Black Country Living Museum is looking to recruit a highly motivated Quantity Survey with experience of preparing tender and cost documentation. Your role will be undertake cost analysis for the deconstruction, build and interior fit-out of historic structures, as well as performing risk analysis, value management and cost control throughout the building works. You must have a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent RICS accredited qualification.
BCLM: Forging Ahead is the Museum’s £22m project to create a world class heritage attraction at the heart of the Black Country, telling a unique story of worldwide significance to 500,000 people each year. It will expand and significantly improve the visitor experience, growing the existing site by a third and creating a new historic development set in the 1940s-60s.
This will be complemented by a new Visitor Welcome, including a new entrance way and contemporary Visitor Centre able to greet up to 5,000 visitors per day.
