You will be working for an established leader within the property sector. In additional to facilities management they offer a wide range of services from construction, civil engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, to property development.
Your new role
You will join the facilities management team as Facilities Contracts Manager working predominantly within PFI. Reporting to the MD and working as an essential part of the senior management team. Your primary role will be to deliver an effective operational service ensuring consistency across the business through the management of a team of Facilities Managers. Duties include: undertake periodic reviews, minimum monthly, of contractual and business performance. Assist in the development of the Service Desk and its utilisation as a dashboard. Develop annual budgets and review financial performance on a monthly basis with the Managing Director and Commercial Manager. Minimising business risk and maximising opportunities.
Provide necessary information to assist the Commercial Manager to tender supply chain. Assist the Managing Director in liaison and relationship building with clients and strategic building users on designated projects. Assist the Managing Director in providing structured guidance and ensuring that a consistent approach is adhered to by Facilities Managers across the designated portfolio of schemes with particular emphasis on. Carrying out regular contract review meetings with designated Facilities Managers. Carrying out periodic regular on-site audits. provide the necessary input into new schemes, including the mobilisation and handover process. Manage a team of Facilities Managers to deliver a planned, reactive and statutory maintenance service.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previously worked in a similar role as a Contracts Manager with extensive hard and soft FM experience managing teams. PFI / LIFT experience essential. Hold or be willing to work towards BIFM intermediate module as a minimum. Legionella Awareness Training. IOSH 4 day certificate. You will be a Good Listener, Pro-active decision maker and have Financial and budgetary skills.
