This is a unique opportunity to join a privately owned property investment company who boast an investment portfolio worth in excess of £500m. You will be given the opportunity to join the company as a lettings manager taking charge of vacant space within the portfolio.
Your new company
You will be given the opportunity to join a company who specialise in property investment, development and the management of office, retail, industrial and residential assets. The company strategy is set to secure growth through the asset management of the existing portfolio and the acquisition of carefully chosen new investment & development opportunities.
Your new role
This opportunity is designed for a hungry entrepreneurial focused candidate who can add an extra dynamic to a growing business. You will be responsible for managing the lettings for the UK property portfolio, driving commercially minded deals to provide best value for the internal client. Strategy and tactical awareness is an important part of this role to make sure deals are not completed for the sake of it. There is currently c.£3.8m worth of vacant rental space to focus on while managing newly vacated stock and new investments to the portfolio.
What you'll need to succeed
A proven track record within multi occupational markets / portfolios will be crucial; you will need to demonstrate the ability to complete a deal without offering huge incentives. The ability to manage external agents and push back should you feel there is a better deal to be had is in line with the company culture. The company culture / strategy is not set up to rent vacant space to anyone for any price, the client is looking for a level headed professional who can seek value.
