The team advise clients on all aspects of exiting commercial property leases including break options, dilapidations, surrenders and surplus portfolio exit strategy. Occasionally landlords are paying tenants to exit leases for strategic reasons, and you will also advise on this strategy should it arise.

This highly regarded team has an exceptional track record working with a range of clients across all sectors and property types with a focus on the London market.

Key responsibilities will vary depending on the direction the successful applicant wishes to take within the team however typically will include

  • Analysis of leases, licences and contracts
  • Detailed understanding of tenant fit-outs
  • Option appraisal and advice
  • Strategic lease exit planning
  • Valuation aspects of lease-end matters
  • Business development

They are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds who are keen to forge out a specialism in lease exit consultancy. Candidates will be MRICS qualified and most likely working within, Lease Advisory or Building Surveying Dilapidations. It could be that you are a chartered surveyor looking to forge their career into this area. The successful candidate will be afforded fantastic career progression within the team and wider business.
