You will be responsible for a team of 4 across the Asset Management and Estates Team.

The main areas of responsibilities extend to:-

  • Support the provision of valuation and commercial estate management services on behalf of the client to ensure a cost effective service to manage the client's £1bn asset portfolio.
  • To maximise the financial and operational performance as defined by the clients Corporate Objectives and outlined in the Asset Management Plan.
  • Ensuring the clients rent roll is collected in a timely manner by keeping up to date records and monitoring dates for payments and preparing recommendations to senior officers for enforcement action where necessary.
  • Be responsible for the management of the client's contractors in the delivery of professional services (including but limited to Asset Valuations, Rating advice and Landlord & Tenant services).
  • Lead on the negotiating of rent reviews and lease renewals on behalf of the client, both in its capacity as a Landlord and Tenant.
  • Take overall responsibility for the processing of applications for assignments, alterations, change of use, licences, easements and other related matters.
  • Ensure the use of sites and buildings is compliant with landlord and tenant obligations, and be responsible for ensuring corrective action is taken where necessary.
  • Ensure best value is achieved in property transactions in line with the client and government policy.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring the client rent roll is collected in a timely manner by keeping up to date records and monitoring dates for payments.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining property records are ensure these are kept up to date and amended on completion of transactions.
  • Provide advice on property matters including property ownership and leasehold obligations to tenants, customers, colleagues and clients.

  • Prepare reports for decision making at senior management level, for committees and Cabinet meetings ensuring language is clear and understandable to all potential readers
