Client side role in Chester for a Commercial Property Surveyor offering £40000
Your new company
You will be working for a prestigious client side company who are looking to expand the commercial estates team with an MRICS commercial property surveyor based in Chester. You will support the 15 year Strategy Plan and assist with day to day management of commercial property on the Chester Estate.The portfolio you will be responsible for ranges from offices, retail, industrial, village halls, listed buildings, schools, shopping centre in chester, hotel, garden centre.
Your new role
You will be responsible for delivering asset management strategy as well as operational management of the portfolio. Rent reviews, Lease renewals, Lease re-gears. Manage and instruct consultants, agents and solicitors to complete deals on time and within budget. Accompany potential tenants to viewings of properties to ensure maximum impact. Liaising and working with external contractors and advisers to prepare and market properties for let. Ensure rent is collected on time, acquisitions and disposals of assets, assist with the identification and assessment of planning and development opportunities. Assist with the preparation of planning applications and full supporting documentation for a wide range of development schemes. Assist with increasing the portfolio's income stream year on year.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an MRICS Commercial Surveyor by background with demonstrable General practice surveying experience across lease advisory, valuation, agency, commercial property management and asset management. You will ideally be able to support the estates manager in supervising other surveyors, have an understanding of the development and planning process, have an understanding of the compliance process. worked in a similar role for a commercial consultancy or client side company. You will have strong customer service skills and excellent communication skills.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary £35000 - £40000, health care AXA, pension scheme 20% contributory, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays which increases to 28 days with length of service, RICS subs paid.
