Job: Communications Manager, Muse Developments

The Company

Muse Developments, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Morgan Sindall plc, is one of the UK’s leading names in property development and regeneration.  The company has a broad portfolio of UK projects, which it is delivering either in its own right or through English Cities Fund (a strategic partnership with the Homes & Communities Agency and Legal & General).  These projects have a total area in excess of 25 million square feet and an end value of over £4 billion. 

The Role

We are looking for an experienced communications manager who can develop and drive the company’s corporate communications strategy while managing the activities of PR consultancies working on specific developments nation-wide.  We’re looking for a creative individual who will deliver consistent messaging and make us stand out from the crowd.

The Candidate

The Communications Manager will have:

• Extensive experience of the property industry
• An understanding of current issues
• Good contacts with key press
• Empathy with stakeholders’ diverse interests
• An ability to think strategically
• A solid grounding in traditional and new media
• Excellent communication skills

Based in Manchester, but also working through regional offices in Glasgow, Leeds and Central London, this is an exciting opportunity to create a new platform for the company’s communications strategy, and to work with some of the most talented people in the business on a portfolio of nationally-important projects!
